Eltel Networks has completed a 400 kV double circuit power line in Poland. The customer was the Polish grid operator - Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne Operator S.A. through its subsidiary - Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne - Zachód S.A. The new line connects Kromolice and Pątnów and its length is 76 km. The project included also dissassembly of an old 220kV overhead line. The project was completed in one year, which is a very short time for this kind of project.
Eltel Networks Olsztyn S.A. was the leader of companies’ consortium that implemented the project. The consortium includes also Budownictwo Elektroenergetyczne SELPOL S.A. Łódź and Zakład Wykonawstwa Sieci Elektroenergetycznych Rzeszów Sp. z o.o. Energoprojekt - Kraków SA, SAG Elbud Gdańsk Holding S.A. and ELFEKO S.A. Gdynia were the main subcontractors during implementation of this project.
